Growing over took a few different forms over the past several months. Each iteration built upon itself. I want to share the moments just after dusk on experiences when walking in a forest.
Featuring matte and high-gloss acrylics, the piece changes with the viewer’s vantage point and the sun’s position. Furthermore, this painting features deliberate textures mimicking forest growth, achieved by applying fine layers of paint during the underpainting stage.
